Newly Renovated Super-Chic Apartment

If you are looking for a cheap & beautiful accommodation for 6 persons, that's the one. If it was not cheap and beautiful, it deserved a big 0!!!

Hmm where to start, there will not be enough toilet paper for 6 persons (go buy your own - ah, but there is nothing nearby, so pay a taxi to buy toilet paper), there is one set of keys so you all have to plan ahead each and every move not to stay on the street if the key holder is absent, the instructions printed inside the house are from 3 years ago and they are not valid, thus you need to read the host's message really carefully, the host will be ironic if you need anything and give you life quotes if you cannot find where to heat the water bbecuase of the WRONG printed instructions, he will know that you do not have a second pair of keys and do nothing for at least 3 days, the house is not actually clean as you will find hair from last tenants everywhere, there is a locked door that could mean anything so you never know what's behind it and if it safe as you do not have the keys (but someone else might) and generally it is so beautiful but unfortunatly not given the attention touristic properties need - speaking as a hospitality proffessional for the past 13 years. Such a pitty to believe that cheap means bad management.

Appartement itself is very comfy, spacefull, located in the nearby of bus stops, including Intercity Buses stop. Walking distance (20 min) to old town.

The flat is nice, the house itself rather unkempt, the pigeons a nightmare and little things such as the batteries for the air conditioning or utensils for washing up are missing.

Spacious, very comfortable, beautifully decorated and very clean. We had a lovely time, thank you 😊

A bit struggle with the water heater and it wasn’t very clear until we turned one of the pages left by the owner. It turned out that the switches for bathroom rails were heating the water 🙃 the shower in the little bathroom was overflowing so we end up using the big shower. Those are just tiny bits which aren’t negative just something to look at.

The apartment was clean, with three good-sized bedrooms (all doubles) and a pleasant lounge. Liked the location (didn’t need to drive anywhere in the city during our stay, was great to have free parking so close to the city, only 25 minutes walk from Ledra Street). Beds were very comfortable. Also liked the attention to sustainability re: heating/hot water. Host was easy to deal with and contact when needed.

The master bedroom was meant to be ensuite but the bathroom was very cramped and the shower always in danger of flooding/overflowing. Would be better just as an ensuite toilet only. Kitchen facilities would be improved with a toaster and a cafetière. Would have also appreciated a few more towels for a family of five, but still managed given we only stayed 3 nights.

Property is recently renovated to a high standard, good layout of rooms, kitchen etc and really good central location for walks into central Nicosia. Whatever help we needed with the flat it was quickly acted on.

Building is a bit older/worn down, but flat itself is perfectly fine.
