Palazzo Trinacria

Excellently located for our visit to La Kalsa, especially since we were mostly based around the marina area. Antonio was great, brought us some delicious cannoli and took the time to explain some places to visit and how to us.

The property only had one shower room which was through one of our bedrooms, which, though slightly inconvenient, wasn’t a big issue.

Il proprietario è stato davvero gentilissimo e accogliente, la location perfetta, a due passi dalla Kalsa.

Прекрасное расположение. До центра - прогулочным шагом, по красивым улочкам- 10 минут. Квартира аутентичная, и это прям вааау! Мы жили, как настоящие сицилийцы! Прекрасный патио, с роскошными деревьями( кстати, так много зелени было только на нашем патио;) Антонио прекрасный хозяин! Встретил нас, дал самые подробные рекомендации по выбору кафе-ресторанов/завтраков-обедов, рассказал что посмотреть, куда съездить, на чем добраться, а куда и во сколько лучше не ходить 🤣🤣🤣 Приятным и трогательным бонусом был презент от Антонио - самые вкусные канноли в Палермо! В следующем году приедем в Палермо на более долгий срок ( просто влюбились в город и сицилийцев!) - жить только к Антонио!

Стройка по соседству( начинают работу уже с 7 утра) и ремонтные работы парковой зоны вдоль набережной. Но это не омрачило наш настрой, мы получали удовольствие от каждого мгновения! Даже кран над нашими головами, во время завтрака- что-то в этом было 😜

Antonio hat uns herzlich mit Gebäck und Mineralwasser empfangen. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung und das gesamte Haus sind in die Jahre gekommen, aber trotzdem wunderschön. Die Terrasse ist ein Traum. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es sehr ruhig. Super WLAN.

Die Kücheneinrichtung hätte etwas umfangreicher sein können. Das Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer hat gequitscht, dafür war das Bett im Schlafzimmer sehr gemütlich.

Great location. Outside seating area was great for breakfast.

Decor needs a little bit of care and attention.

Antonio was the most gracious guest, extremely helpful and kind throughout the stay. He notified us before about building work and gave us the chance to cancel the booking but we thought it would be ok as we would be out and about for the majority of the day. Antonio really was a lovely host, helped us with travel, etc, couldn't ask for more from a host in that regard. The apartment is large (for 2 people anyway, it was me and my friend) with a spacious roof terrace. We enjoyed the roof terrace for afternoon drinks.

We felt the apartment could do with a spruce up generally, for example, quite a lot of plug sockets didn't work and just the general aesthetics of the apartment could do with a little bit of TLC. Still, it was a good price for us and we weren't looking for the most luxurious place in the world, but just FYI. The reviews all state the location is good which it is, it's not super far from things, but we found the 20 minute walk to the city centre each way quite a lot in the heat!!, but then again we are Brits, not used to high temperatures.
