Wonderful spacious appartment and we had our own outside space which was fantastic. Very friendly host who was really accommodating and provided us with lots of hints and tips about Palermo. They even provided free water and a bottle of wine which was a lovely gesture.

The location was a bit of a distance from the main areas, which we knew about when we booked but we found the bus service to be very unreliable so ended up walking most of the time.

Clean appartment, high ceilings, quiet in the night. Very kind owner, always available, helped us arrange the airport transfer.

Amazing property with all amenities, very clean and lovely owner. The most comfortable and luxurious stay of our trip. Definitely recommend

We had a bad experience on our last night when there was extremely loud music playing until 3am in the morning, right near where the accommodation was located. As such, we got no sleep as we had an airport transfer at 3am….

Fantastic place to stay for a girls trip. Everything we needed was in the apartment. The area is safe and design of the apartment is very artsy. You can tell the host has a certain style for art. He supplied us a bottle of white wine and 2 bottles of water - which was really thoughtful as we had gotten in at night and didn't have much time to grab groceries. The apartment is in a local area so it isn't a city life vibe. It will take you a while to get into the city (40m walk) BUT, it's a great experience to see what local life is like in Sicily. There is a bodega café right across the street that you can get fresh pastries, pizza , bread, water and a shot of espresso for really cheap. It is a perfect spot for a wanderer or someone who is looking to be engaged in the natural local life.

The transportation mode will be slightly difficult if you have plans to venture out into the city. To ensure you make the most of the day, plan to take a backpack and walk towards the city and spend the day there. The Uber or taxi's don't come to the area and will get cancelled often. The way back is easier with taxi's. The other important note is air circulation or ventilation. There is non, it's mostly windows and that can create a bit of stink for the bathrooms. There is an AC but definitely use windows during the day for air circulation. There is also no windows. For me, that isn't too much of an issue but it can be for some who need daylight. I had an easy time sleeping in because I couldn't tell what time it was. However, it can be an issue if someone needed to be on time somewhere. Another big point is to ensure you have the number of people marked. we stayed at apartment 3 downstairs and it had 2 bedrooms but unless it's more than 2 people, the host will not unlock it. So make sure to ensure you need the other bedroom, especially if you have more than 2 people. The host was really thoughtful for coming to unlock the second room and main bathroom so that we can be comfortable in the space.

The neighborhood wasnt that close to everything including historic district and train station.

We stayed as a couple for 5 nights and had an amazing time here. The host was incredibly hospitable and nice, and even treated us with some complimentary sicilian white wine. The apartment was very clean, nice and well-equipped with all the necessary stuff you would need for a your stay. It was also well located, with about 2 minutes walking distance to the nearest groceries (which were just around the corner), and the nearest pharmacy. Walking distance to the city centre was about 15 minutes, which fitted us well, as we enjoy walking quite a lot. Since it’s a ground floor apartment, and we are talking about Palermo here, we have seen a cockroach twice, but i wouldn’t consider that a con, since there really isn’t much to do about it. Overall amazing experience, would recommend to anyone who is planning a trip to Palermo :)
