Casa in palazzo Graffeo Sven

This was a very spacious one bedroom flat with a lot of original charm. We had a lovely balcony by the living room/dining are which we enjoyed using for our breakfast and evening meals. It back onto a cul-de-sac so very quiet whilst also very central, close to all the touristic points. There was a good fridge/freezer and all we needed in the kitchen. The terrace is shared and has a great view of the city. You access it by a tricky looking staircase, but all very charming.

The place wasn't exactly easy to find and we were luck someone was going into the building just as we were asking for directions. But Sven was good at communicating so I'm sure he'd have given us more information if we'd asked. The flat is decorated and furnished with mainly antique type items, including the bed. The mattress was ok for us but might be too soft/springy for heavier people.

The apartment is situated in a palazzo in one of the apartments on the second floor (no elevator). The apartment is very spacious and and traditionally decorated. The kitchen is equipped with things for a quick meal, but nothing too fancy. Shower works well. The apartment is very well situated, all the important sights are in walking (10-15 mins) distance, as is a supermarket (Famila for example). The A/C works very well, too. There is also a washing machine! You have a balcony in the apartment looking onto a street and church and two terraces for the whole house, reachable over two narrow wood staircases. During our stay it was very quiet, only some neighbors you could hear every now and then.

The mattress has seen better days (or to be frank, many visitors) and is very thin. If you sleep with somebody else on it you feel every movement and the metal frame it is on. For longer stays it would be nice to have more kitchen equipment.

Loved it. Kitchen very basic but it works fine. Big and comfy. Private little balcony where we ate breakfast every day and a lovely shared terrace. Great position for all Palermo has to offer.

The location was walking distance to everything, sites, good food, great coffee, shopping. Check out the terrace.

Old fashioned vibe in characterful building. Lots of space. Lovely roof terrace.
