The accommodation was very modern and clean. The bathroom was excellent, and the air conditioning worked well once you figured it out – you just need to press the button a bit longer until it beeps. The place was cozy and romantically decorated. The kitchen had everything you could need, even cute paper towels with hearts on them. There was also salt, spices and oil available. The city and the beach are within easy walking distance. Opatija is by far the most beautiful city I’ve ever seen. Just make sure to bring enough money – it is definitely very expensive there.

During peak season, parking can be quite difficult. We visited at the end of the season and managed to find a spot. Otherwise, you should expect to pay around €30–€40 per day for parking – it really is that expensive, and we’re not exaggerating. At night, you can check if cars have left and try to get lucky with a spot, that’s how we managed to get one right infront of our apartment. But this is the case everywhere in Opatija, without exception.

Nice apartment with all apliances. In the city centre, you can walk anywhere.
