Chalet Bernardi Apartments

Spacy rooms with each their own bathroom. Cosy living, and really nice hosts Highly recommended

It is rare to find a place as special as this. Simon & Marion could not be nicer. The pictures don't fully capture just how beautiful the apartment is, with furniture & wood carvings made by the Bernardi family. It was incredibly clean and has my favorite shower in Europe (roomy, consistent temperature, great water pressure, and no water on the floor. Be aware: bed & sofa are a bit lower than usual to the floor, and view is mainly from outside and the kitchen table. Simon supplied us with snacks and a lovely souvenir.

Traditional local house, with all you could need . Very cosy and spacious, homely, spotlessly clean. Balcony views were amazing , and the icing on the cake was the hot tub! Hosts provided all we needed re toiletries/ cleaning, and lovely treats to eat! Very helpful and kind hosts!

Nothing! Must note it is high up the mountain side , but there is a bus stop just outside. ( service stops at 6pm). The very kind owners dropped us off and picked us up from town with our luggage . This was a massive help and extremely kind.

We stayed in the penthouse apartment -- there were 5 of us -- it was so gorgeous! The view was spectacular. The hosts, Simon and Marion were so sweet and knowledgeable. We loved Simon's recommendations. It was easy to get to the gondolas and mountain train. Simon also provided a recommendation for a nearby lake for swimming which was so great. We abolutely loved it and can't wait to stay here again.

We loved everything, but just something to note, it would be a fair bit of an uphill walk to get to the apartment. We had a car so it wasn't a problem for us. There was a bus stop right near the place, but we never saw a bus go by. One other small thing -- the hot tub is very relaxing and nice, but it's not kept as hot as we are used to in the U.S.

Simon e Marion sono degli host meravigliosi, attentissimi alla cura degli ospiti. Ci hanno coccolato in tutto e hanno permesso di goderci in tranquillità questa vacanza con la nostra pelosona. Appartamento super pulito e dotato di ogni comfort. Posizione ottima. Bellissimo il gesto di Simon di regalarci, prima della partenza, una piccola scultura in legno fatta da lui della nostra pelosona. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

Our stay at Chalet Bernardi in Ortisei, Val Gardena, was nothing short of exceptional. From the start, the communication with the property owners was efficient and seamless. Simon and Marion, our hosts, went above and beyond with their attentive hospitality, checking in daily to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. The chalet itself was fantastic. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, providing restful nights after days of exploring. The spacious bathroom featured a high-pressure, warm shower—perfect for unwinding. The well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, adding a wonderful touch of convenience. The views of the Dolomites were breathtaking, and having a bus stop right on-site made getting around incredibly easy. Whether you’re looking to hike, ski, or simply soak in the beauty of the region, this location is ideal. I wholeheartedly recommend Chalet Bernardi to friends, family, and anyone looking for a memorable stay in Val Gardena. We left feeling truly cared for and can't wait to return!
