Absolutely everything was amazing. The size of the apartment was huge, the beautifully appointed rooms and so much more. Salvatore went above and beyond to help us with any little thing.

The property was perfect. Great location easy to get everywhere.

Think about the Ritz Hotel in London or Paris. What comes to mind? Class, elegance, luxury, comfort, service, style. Palermo does not have a Ritz Hotel but “Le Rose di Nonna Maria” might be as close as you can get to it, at a very competitive and affordable price. My family and I (two couples) stayed here for four nights recently and we had high expectations based on the listing and its images, but the experience was even better than we expected. Salvatore, the host, was very communicative and helpful as we made our reservation and helped with several aspects of our planning. We were met at the 4th-floor apartment by his assistant who gave us a thorough tour of the apartment and many of its features and gave us an overview of nearby locations on a map. The spacious “master” bedroom is on the main floor and the 2nd large bedroom is in a large loft above it. Although the beds were firm compared to our norm, we quickly adapted and liked them. The furniture and furnishings are classy yet functional and comfortable. Modern appliances and features throughout. Central A/C and heating which can be adjusted individually in each room. It’s all in the little details too: a bottle of Prosecco, bottled water and fresh fruit in the fridge; delicious hard Italian candies throughout; fresh pastries and a torte in the formal dining room; a desktop PC with high-speed internet and printer; a stereo system rack with LPs and cassettes for a variety of tastes; a very large TV with Netflix, Prime, etc.; complimentary custom-made cards for continental breakfast at a nearby café; plush bathrobes; umbrellas by the door in case it is raining and you need one; a washer AND dryer (highly unusual in Italy and other Mediterranean countries) for your clothes. Excellent location on a relatively quiet residential street: 10-minute walk to Teatro Massimo and the Capo Market and 20-minute walk to the Cathedral. Superb apartment with a superb host. Everything, it was magnificent. It had everything what we wanted, beautiful, clean and spacious.

The host, Salvatore, was delightful. He helped me find an English speaking physiotherapist, recommended an excellent taxi service and happily came over to ‘fix’ the hot water when we turned it off by mistake. The apartment was large and airy and very well presented. It had everything we needed for our stay including a very well equipped kitchen.

By far the best Air B&B we have ever stayed in. Everything is good about this property. The house is super duper comfy.it is so elegant and pictures dont do justice to the place. The host is an amazing gentleman. We just didnt feel like leaving the house
