Luci sul Lago - A Real Paradise

Just perfect. Excellent front view of the lake. You wake up every morning to the lake’s stunning view. Host was considerate to ensure facilities are in place. Beds are comfortable. The property comes with washing machine if one is staying for longer period. Safe as well.

Just minor thing. 2nd room is wothout air condition. Hence, it can be hot if you are staying during summer. Getting to the flat can be a bit of a challenge as the road to the flat is narrow and remote. Very few taxis wld take one there. You just have to try a few times and may be lucky.

Very well equipped apartment with outstanding view on the Como lake and surroundings. Quiet place where you can relax. Dalila is the best host ever :)

Views and amenities were very good. Clean apartment and there were basic essentials in the cupboards to help us keep the place clean and tidy during our stay.

The location is difficult to get too. You need a car but the hire cars or taxis are not easy to find. A buggy or scooter hire should be provided with the apartment.

Lovely apartment with great outside space. Great to have sun loungers and only a short distance from the pool. Perfect location - Only 20 minutes (steep) walk in/out of Varenna but we found this fine, although be careful after rain as the stones are slippery. It meant we had amazing lake views and the property was quiet.

Shame the apartment couldn't fit 2 normal single beds in 2nd room (had a pull out bed as second bed) but we didn't get any complaints that beds weren't comfortable.

The view is unbeatable. The unit itself is clean, spacious, well stocked and well furnished.

There was recently a landslide which has caused the trains to stop running to Varenna. It made it very difficult for us to find transportation from Milan to the unit (we took a train to Como and then an Uber to the unit). Once you’re in the unit it is also difficult to find transportation unless you have a car. There is a foot path from the unit to Verena below where you can pick up items or grab food for dinner. it only took about 10 minutes of a leisurely walk downward to get to the port. The walk back up was more difficult and took us about 15 to 20 minutes, but really wasn’t that bad as long as your party members are in good shape. If you have someone that struggles to walk or is older, it would probably not be an option.  there is no restaurant at the property. Is about 10 to 15 minutes down the road in Perledo. It is also a pleasant park along a rock corridor, but also has a decent amount of uphill climb for anyone with mobility concerns. We really enjoyed the stay, but the logistics are something to consider.
