CUBA'S ART HOUSE

The host arranged to meet with us at no additional cost, even though, due to flight delays, it was past midnight. It is a lovely apartment full of excellent paintings and artefacts, so it differed from most places we have stayed before. The host was very attentive and provided all the support needed.

There are two WC/bathrooms, one with a tub and the other with a shower cubicle. We would have preferred to have two cubicles instead, as it was impractical to take a quick shower in the tub without wetting the floor.

The size of the flat and the terrace

It's a bit far from the city center

Amazing apartment located on a 20 minutes walk from the city centre. The space is very spacious with a big terrace and very nicely decorated. Donatella was so nice to meet us at the place and give us the keys. We loved every minute of our stay!

I very much enjoyed the uniqueness of the apartment! It had a lot of space both inside and outside, where you were able to enjoy eachothers company as a group! I would definetly choose this appartement again upob returning to Palermo.

Spacious and comfortable with a generous veranda balcony at the rear of the apartment.

The front rooms to the main street do not have adequate sound proofing. The old style shutters on the outside and inside do not block street noise in the morning and evenings. The air conditioner to the front main bedroom was faulty and did not work. A technician was called but was not able to fix the problem. Some of the kitchen utensils could do with an upgrade. For eg: sharp kitchen knives, and tongs for cooking.

If there were two sets of keys

The layout of the flat was amazing. Proving lots of space to hang out as a group or if you wanted alone time. The terrace was out of a book, perfect.

Flat did get chilly at night and heating was hard to work out. Location was also a good 30-45 minute walk from the main areas of Palermo

The house was really beautiful.

Unfortunately, there were no air conditioners, only 2 fans and we suffered from the heat as it had 41 degrees! Absolutely disappointed from Donatella who illegally wanted to charge us with 30 € for a 2-hour delay in check-in. That was not mentioned in the accommodation policy here in booking. The check-in ended at 21:00 and we arrived at 19:00. Unacceptable behavior and I am very sorry, not for money but for her illegal demanding.
