Everything is clean. Parking is easy.

Domaćin je jako ljubazan. Ušli smo u apartman ranije od dogovorenog.

Bučni susjedi na katu iznad.

Ubytování super, ne úplně v centru, ale blízko. Hned u domu zastávka autobusu. Doporučuji :-)

Vše bylo v naprostém pořádku.

As advertized, it was a large 2 bedroom apartment, with all amenities. A beautifully tiled kitchen, full of light from large windows, with a view of the sea and a balcony directly off the kitchen. If arriving by train or intercity bus, the #24 city bus can be caught in front of the central station and a 20 minute ride will take you to right in front of the apartment. The ride was €1.40 in 2024, if you purchase the ticket in a tobacco shop before getting on the bus and validate the ticket on the bus. There is a small grocery store 3 blocks away and a couple of pastry shops. Small produce stands can be found along the street. The historic district is a 20 minute walk or take the #124 bus. Palermo’s history is fascinating, and filled with historic buildings and markets of all descriptions. The food and wine can’t be beat.

We arrived at the place at 10pm. The host explained that only 3 large appliances can be on at the same time. In less than 10 minutes, the lights went off and didn't return. I had to leave 2 toddlers in the car for over an hour as it was 49ºC and the place was super hot. The host sent us to a hotel 20 mins drive from there. The hotel was nice but without a place to park, so we ended up going to bed at 2am. The next day, the host told us to return as the electrician has fixed the issue. We came back and in less than an hour, the lights went down again and the main air conditioning never returned. Since it was very hot outside, we had to stay the remainder of the trip without using the appliances, and all of us inside the bedroom due to the heat. The host is a nice guy but the wiring in the flat is bad, the aircon doesn't work. He said it was a weather issue across the whole city but after 3 nights there, we went to another 3 places and it was all fine. I don't recommend this place when it's hot. Might be okay if you don't need to use the air conditioning, hot water or fridge. I have the whole conversation with the host screenshotted from Whatsapp so there's no misunderstanding.
