The large grassy lawn in front of the house provided unrivalled access to Lake Rotorua, and exceptional views. The Tennis Court was fun. Very clean and modern, the bedrooms and lounge dining area were spacious. The Queen size beds were very comfortable. The bathroom had excellent shower pressure.

The Tennis court was muddy and leafy in winter. Will be great if it can be swept. The kitchen/laundry is small with only one stove element, jug, toaster and microwave but we still can cook a meal in it. Will be nice if this kitchen had an extractor fan.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly host with prompt communication. Lake view is absolutely stunning and such a peaceful spot. Unit is very clean tidy and also very close to central city activities. We definitely will come back next time and enjoy it more.

I have dislikes

This is absolutely a magical location, with the lake and babbling brook. I never wanted to leave! The accommodation is clean and has everything we needed. The grounds and gardens were huge, beautiful and private - a great place for kids to run around. It's a short drive to all the sights. You won't regret staying here, it's just beautiful!

Lakeside view is lovely. Perfect for watching nature & venturing out onto the lake depending on the weather. Friendly couple who own it. Let us borrow their kayaks which unfortunately we didn't get round to using & giving us the use of their gas bbq was appreciated.

One double bedroom connected to another which wasn't a problem for us as we were only a party of four (two couples) but might be for a larger group. Also bit strange having windows in walls that unless you closed the blinds looked into other bedrooms? Sofa in lounge small for larger group & bit of a pain the fridge freezer not in kitchen but this is due to limited space. Felt some bits outside needed some repair/attention & maybe a proper footpath to the property but overall we enjoyed our stayed.
