Casa Nazarí - Setenil de las Bodegas

The property was a little further from the centre but only a short walk.

No info from the host re. how to access the key box. When I rang, she spoke NO word of English, had to chase her daughter (who was barely comprehensible) to pass on the code - very frustrating. The house is quite a distance from the centre of town - which was not communicated clearly enough in the description of the property.

Bijou and pretty property, well furnished and comfortable. Location out of the town and up a very, very steep road. Parking in town during the day almost impossible, but much easier in the evening. Lots of decent restaurants in amazing settings under the “cliffs” of stone.

Unable to walk into town due to the steepness of the roads down (and even worse going back up!)

The place gives you a smile of comfort. Such caring for a warm atmosphere.

Everything! The house is very nice and decorated in an Arabic/oriental style. The apartment is very big, with 3 rooms and 1 living room.

Maybe with 2 bathroom everything would have been perfect.

The responsiveness of the manager was excellent. We asked for fresh batteries for the a/c remote and a man arrived at 8 pm to deliver two small batteries. They were always quick to reply. The decor is really nice; we liked the tile, color scheme, bedroom lighting and trim. Setenil is close to Ronda and other white villages.

The location is close enough to the town center, cave streets and cafes, and the inside is nice, but the immediate area of the apartment is not as charming as one might expect, and there is a fair bit of residential activity. Setenil de las Bodegas is interesting, but it is not as tidy as other white villages we visited.

Location is decent - you'll need to walk for 15 - 20 min to get to the main part of town. Be aware of the hills and winding roads. The hosts were extremely responsive in the Booking App, and helped to recommend where to eat.

Price was a bit more than we wanted to spend for one night - but it was on a Friday which could have led to a slightly higher price than if it was during the week.

This was a beautifully furnished property with touches of both Spanish and Moorish decor. We loved how comfortable it was.

We needed to get on to the WiFi which was tricky as the network was different to the instructions they had in the property. This was easily solved by a phone call to the owner who assured us they would update the information posted at the apartment.

It was clean and very cosy. Love the decor . The air-conditioning works wonders as it was very very hot. 

There was nothing not to like about the property. However, the roads to arrive at the property were extremely steep and utterly scary to drive three.
