"Gem of a property with a fantastic view"

Stylish, comfortable and well-equipped with a beautiful view. Everything I needed and more - very well-designed and thoughtfully equipped. Bed was really comfortable - best night’s sleep in a long time! Ample parking and lovely rural setting. Host was really friendly and helpful and provided a very helpful welcome pack. I absolutely recommend this property and I will certainly be back!

Absolutely beautiful little place to stay near Penrith! The apartment was really cosy and very clean, with beautiful surroundings! Great comms from the host prior to arrival with clear instructions on how to gain access and with a site map etc. On the whole couldn't be happier and would definitely stay again!

"Awful Location next to a derelict building"

The property was clean.

This was a really disappointing stay with friends. The property is next to a very derelict building, which was very scary upon arrival, and the security and access felt a major worry with young children. It is located within what looked like an office block, but there was no security lighting outside, and we all felt very unsafe during our stay. It doesn't seem ready for guests within the location, and whilst the property was clean, it felt very misleading to call it a retreat. More honest pictures of the location and setup would have led us not to book

Quiet location, very clean and comfortable, excellent cooking facilities. Ideal for my needs but would also be excellent for a family. My third stay and I will certainly be back.

"Clean and comfortable base from which to go fell-walking."

Good to have option to self cater, without need for an entire cottage rental. Flexibility of being able to rent for 4 nights, not the entire week. Host very accessible.via WhatsApp. Would use again, if available. Spotlessly clean and surprising well-equipped for a relatively small space.
