Everything was great - from the location to the stuff in the flat. The view from the balcony is amazing - the road right next to the property is busy but once the windows are closed you can't hear much.

It's an old building so issues can crop up - these were dealt with very quickly by the owners/agents.

Stunning views over the marina and excellent location for access to all that Palermo has to offer. The only issue is that at the weekend, you get a bit of noise from kids cruising their cars along the water front and playing their music unreasonably loud, but thankfully you're 5 floors above them. The apartment is served by an elevator, and the common hallway has a secure door onto the street. The apartment is set up with two bedrooms, but as there were just two of us, we'd have preferred if there had been a comfortable sitting area instead. The kitchen was adequate for our short stay, there's a small supermarket along the street and a larger one (Familia on Salita Partanna) only 5 mins walk away which provides everything you'll need. Simona was a lovely host and provided many useful tips, especially where to find the best cannoli!
