Maison Blanche

We had such a lovely time in Mondello! The house is nicely located by the beach. You’d have to walk about 10 min. We chose to take the car because we wanted to go on the other side of the beach. We didn’t have any problems with parking, downloaded easy parking app and you’ll be able to load parking on your phone no problem (Boise spots). The place is lovely, we cooked dinner every night, the beds were comfortable, each room has air conditioning. You’d have to be aware of running everything at the same time but that’s very common in Italy. Use your common sense and it will work out. The terrace is STUNNING (we had the 2 bedroom apartment upstairs). Would definitely come back. Marcello was very helpful and kind. He even offered us his bikes:). We didn’t take him up for it but we appreciated it.

Overall, a great place! We stayed in the apartment on the second floor. It was quite spacious and had everything you could need. There are two large terraces, two bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. The space feels very private, located within a gated area. The host, Eleonora, was amazing—special kudos to her! Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again

Nothing major. The house is about a 10–13 minute walk from the beach, and some parts of the road don’t have sidewalks. The streets in the area can be a bit dirty.

We had a really lovely stay here. Everything was arranged perfectly, and everybody was kind and helpful with everything.

The apartment completely met our expectations. It was clean, spacious, and featured two large terraces with beautiful views, plus a garden. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, which was particularly important as we were preparing meals for our group of three adults and five children. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The location was ideal, close to both a public beach and a more serene, uncrowded rocky beach in the Capo Gallo Nature Reserve.

Wonderful large apartment in a quiet wide street with lots of free parking space. The location is great, less than 10 minutes walking to the beach. The apartment was clean and very comfortable for our group. There are several chairs to enjoy the balcony and even a couple of parasol to take to the beach. The kitchen is well equipped and the host provided essentials like coffee, oil, salt, sugar, juice, toasts and Nutella and jam. The host is very kind and very responsive.

The water pressure is weak, and flushing the toilet does not work very well. Also the shower has low hot water pressure, but it works, it just takes some getting used to.

The house has a lovely Sicilian charm, just like you’d imagine a traditional home in Sicily. It’s not newly renovated, but the wooden furniture, large kitchen, and big terrace give it a cozy, authentic feel.

Given the water issues across Sicily, it was surprising that there was no dishwasher in the house. Without one, guests are left to wash the dishes themselves, which can be inconvenient. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the dishes were greasy, likely because the previous guests didn't clean them properly, and the owner didn't catch it. We had to wash all the dishes before using them.

The hosts were very nice, they even left some food and water for us. The unit was clean, and there was very nice space outside with table and chairs and for the kids to play.
