Cathedral View Apartments

The location, the incredible view, the heritage of the building and the beauty of the Salon. The check in girl Annabel was nice especially as we arrived so late!

The amenities!! Such a beautiful apartment with not good enough amenities. The towels were old and threadbare. We received 1 large towel and 1 hair towel for two of us! I requested more towels but was not brought them. Only 2 pillows per king bed. ZERO bathroom products. No hot water in 1 shower room. 2 plastic hangars only. No wardrobe or hanging facilities in the 2nd bedroom. No kettle or pan to heat water. No tea bags which not essential but would have been nice. All these items are not expensive to do and i think are basic requirements.

Perfect location, amazing view of the cathedral. Big apartment. Perfect for a family with children who can climb stairs, as ours. Very helpful and kind host.

Upper floor without elevator. Not a problem for us but worth knowing for families with small children for instance. The shower is on the small side.

There was nothing we didn't like Please be aware there are 72 steps up with a lift only for luggage There is a fridge coffee machine and kettle No cooking facilities This was fine with us

The location is superb.

The bathroom had a drain problem The kitchen was very poorly equipped…not really possible to cook or to wash dishes. The main bed sagged so only one person oukd sleep in it

View to the cathedral

The apartment is in a 18th century residential building without passenger lift. Just a small lift to transport the luggage and the lift was not allowed to use on Sunday so we had to move four 24 inches luggages & four hand carry luggages downstairs from 3rd floor to ground floor ourselves. No car park near the apartment so we had to drove an hour to park our cars at 23:00 in the old town. Very bad experience to park the car. The water pressure of the shower is bad and water leaking from shower head. Lighting in the bathroom is not enough. Table lamp in living & bedroom were out of order. No utensils in the kitchen so it is not possible to prepare simple breakfast, not to mention lunch or dinner in the apartment.

Could you a few more kitchen items, towels, etc. & a blanket vs just a sheet for the bed.

Totally stunning view from the huge lounge verandas. Very stately. Really unusual!

Three flights of huge stairs, not for the feint hearted. But worth the climb! No kitchen as such. Only a coffee machine and a small fridge. Not for self catering!
