Kivotos Epavlis

We adored the location, the house, the warm and generous welcome. It's a perfect place from which to explore Prespa and its surroundings. We will be back (maybe next time we won't leave!)

Kitchen equipment is quite minimal, not ideal if you wanted to cook a lot. This hardly affected us though, because the tavernas in the village are excellent, amazing value and right by the house. When we did eat in, we were able to make simple meals - and Marula and Thanos brought us delicious home baked goods and home grown vegetables! Actually I have nothing negative to say at all except it would be good to have a small saucepan!

Οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν γλυκείς και ευγενικοί άνθρωποι. Η παρουσία τους διακριτική, αλλά οι συζητήσεις μαζί τους απολαυστικές. Το κατάλυμα ήταν πεντακάθαρο, πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και στο κέντρο του χωριού. Θα ξαναπάμε!

Our stay at Kivotos Epavlis was nothing short of exceptional. As two couples visiting for five nights, we arrived with uncertain expectations, but were pleasantly surprised. We were accommodated in two beautifully designed units, one featuring a kitchen. The entire complex exudes a sophisticated aesthetic, showcasing fine taste and meticulous attention to detail in every corner. However, the highlight of our experience was the warm hospitality from Maria (Marula) and Athanasius (Thanos). Their thoughtful gestures truly set them apart; they spoiled us with fresh vegetables, fruits, and delightful homemade pastries from Maria each day. Thanos also took us on a memorable trip to a nearby hill, where we watched the sunset over the stunning Prespa Lakes—a breathtaking experience we will cherish forever. In summary, the level of hospitality we received raised the bar incredibly high for any future travels. Thank you wholeheartedly, Maria and Thanos, for making our stay so unforgettable! Lack of microwave oven.

Very friendly and helpful people! Quiet place! Clean place! In the middle of the village, nearby a restaurant. Would like to come and stay again at this place.
