Il Riccio Apartment

Pasquale was fantastic at communication, and generously collected us at the ferry terminal and gave us a quick tour of the island by car before taking us to the apartment. He also took us to the ferry when we were leaving early one morning, and was always available to give us advice. The apartment was perfect for us (2 adults and an 8 year old) and a very quiet location between the busier areas of the island. We walked to Chaia beach (and the supermarket) and in the afternoons to Chiaiolella beach on the west side to see the sunsets. We could walk back in about 20 minutes. We tried using the bus service once but it was a bit tricky to figure out and not very convenient (but we didn’t need it).

Pasquale gave us a lift from the port and showed us around. He was very helpful and friendly.

Pasquale is a great host and looks after his guests very well. He picked us from Marina Grande and even showed us around before bringing us to the Apartment. There was water, spaghetti, noodles, fruits, tea coffee, milk etc free of charge in the apartment. He also dropped us back on day of departure.

The Apartment has interconnecting open windows on top of each room (without glass so person in one bedroom can hear the snores or coughs of persons in the other bedroom which is why I had to send my travel buddy to the sofa bed in the living room !). The Apartment is directly on a street so the in bedroom facing the street you can hear all the traffic sounds.

Both the apartment and location were perfect, the sea view from the terrace outside is lovely. The host was the best host we have ever had, he showed us around and collected us from the port. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

Nothing, it was a perfect stay on a beautiful island.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have discovered this island and the superhost, PASQUALE. With his goodness and positivity, he enhanced our trip to Procida. Pasquale was quite helpful. He advised us and provided us with all of the necessary information on our trip to Procida. On the day of our arrival, he greeted us at the port and delivered us to the house with his car and backway at 7:00 a.m. I highly recommend such a fantastic host to anyone. The house was wonderful, with an amazing view, and well-stocked with all the necessary supplies. The island itself is a miniature heaven on Earth. I fell in love with it and am already searching for ways to return. That was such an incredible experience. I'd like to go to this island sometime soon. The host went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. Very helpful and informative. The apartment was lovely as is Procida.

Good communal space. Pasquale was an excellent host, very friendly and he picked us up and took us back to the ferry. Was very informative and showed us around the island. The island is beautiful and the apartment is close to the old town and to two beaches with a short walk.

One of the beds creaked a lot! There was no air con which did mean it was quite warm at night, but fans were provided. Neither of these things spoiled our stay which we really enjoyed.

Fabulous hospitality from host, Pasquale! Picked us up, toured the island and dropped us at the ferry. He was always available if we had questions! The apartment is quiet, very well appointed, fabulous view of the islands from across the street. Walkability factor..10! Would definitely recommend...he totally goes the extra mile to create a memorable experience.
