Old Town - Suur Karja Apartment

It was a great location and secure parking!

Top floor and the lift was broken. The blankets were singles on a double bed?

The property did have a great location as well as a washer, dishwasher, and good internet.

This property advertised an elevator and it did not work. This apartment is on the 6th floor and carrying luggage for a family of six was very difficult. Also, clearly smokers had stayed in this place and not just one smoker. The walls and curtains smelled like smokers had lived there. It was difficult for us to stay there and we almost got a hotel instead of staying here. I bought some candles and that helped. In addition, the house had holes in the walls, the flooring was coming up and fixtures were missing covers. It really needed to be updated. When I brought the horrible smell up to the manager, she said she would get back to us and never did. Bottom line, don’t stay here if you are sensitive to smoke or can’t walk up 6 stories or if you are staying in Tallinn for more than a night or two. It just felt kind of gross.

Squeaky floors and beds, no curtain in bathroom and sewer smell coming from the toilet. Lots of broken things.

The location was great, the kitchen and the rooms were very big and the view was lovely.

There was a weird oniony smell and the dishwasher didn’t work

The apartment was offered for rent in technically poor condition. You could feel the magic of the entire Tallinn sewer in it. The bathtub is only an object, to use it you have to be creative and make a cork yourself 😅
