Very clean and nice apartment in Ilha. It’s a great place to stay if you’re planning to hike to Pico Ruivo the next day. The host was very friendly and gave us great restaurant recommendations in Santana.

Quiet, Mountain View, had everything you would need and was very modern and clean. Perfect with a young kid.

Would require a car to get there but that is true for so many things in Madeira

Relatively large apartment. You could easily stay here for a few weeks and not feel cramped. It was quite clean and a large bathroom which is a huge plus!

The washing machine had an interesting smell and the AC did not work. The main thing was the super uncomfortable mattress. It was too stiff for us. Remember to leave the tourist tax!! It is not included so bring cash.
