Very well equipped. Really clean and sheets and towels changed more frequently than is usual.. Very attentive host who was keen to make our stay comfortable.

The small road up to the house was a bit tricky in the dark and might be more so in poor weather , or for wide SUVs . A reflector by the dip at the entrance to the road would be helpful. Coming from the UK, where we are cautious about leaving windows open when we are out, we were a bit anxious that the host preferred to leave windows open when she kindly refreshed sheets etc. This was unusual for us.

Everything from the views of lake, peaceful and wondetful hosts was on point. Had an awesome stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil place. The photos on line were exactly what our accom looked like. Just beautiful.

"Superb apartment with an excellent host in a quiet rural setting."

Lovely quiet rural location with great views of Lake Ōmāpere and well located for the Twin Coasts cycle trail. Jeanette is an excellent host who has built a beautiful apartment in a garden setting. She also cooked us a great dinner.

Would have been great if our schedule had allowed us to stay longer!
