Tourist House Odonell

We stayed in this apartment for the second time (from different Booking accounts). We will definitely come back again. Apart from the truly minor issues to be improved (listed below), it is a great apartment for a week-long stay in Seville and a good base with convenient access to the train station, bus station, and the airport. Naps in the hammock: priceless!

Only two items need urgent improvement: 1) The washing machine does not drain water — it looks like the pump needs replacing, which is not expensive. It’s clear that previous guests already tried unsuccessfully to fix it. I encourage the management to repair it, as the inability to do automatic laundry during a longer stay is a real inconvenience. 2)The microwave does not work (it shows an error). It is most likely the door-closure sensor that needs replacement, which is also not a major cost.

Great location, lift, very spacious with two double beds. Internal bedroom with sliding doors offers a quieter environment for light sleepers. Well equipped kitchen if you intend to prepare food. Vacuum cleaner, iron, washing machine for longer stays. Shops cafes and restaurants nearby. Bus stop to and from the airport fairly close. Host very communicative, got in touch early on the day of arrival to confirm arrival time. Easy self check in.

Hot water difficult to get to the shower. The boiler just won't turn on when you run the shower. You need to run the kitchen tap first to get the boiler going. No hand soap in the bathrooms, only the small shampoo and shower gel sachets which are also a pain to open with wet hands under the shower. Apocalyptic noise around midnight from rubbish collection on the street if you sleep in the living room and noisy neighbors if there is a football game on. Bring earplugs if you are easily awoken. A set of 4 keys provided, only 2 of which we used. Some sort of labeling would be useful as difficult to tell which key is the one you need. None of the above however made our stay less enjoyable. We had a lovely time in Sevilla

Great location, comfortable bed.

1.No soap or shampoo was properly provided. Each guest received only three very small sachets of shower gel and shampoo for a three-day stay. 2.Only one small towel per person was provided, which is inconvenient, especially if you need to wash your hair. 3.Although there is a dishwasher and a washing machine, no detergents are available, and both appliances show signs of mold. 4.Hot water supply is unreliable. The boiler operates unpredictably: you may wait around 20 minutes for warm water, only to have it for about 5 minutes before it disappears again, followed by another long wait.

-When we arrived, the heater was turned off and we had no idea. Then the problem was solved by the landlord. - The water took a long time to be hot. - In the middle of center so there was noise but we could sleep easily.
