Il Giglio di Mare, la spiaggia a un passo da te

Eine sehr schöne, liebevoll renovierte und gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Die Kommunikation mit dem freundlichen Vermieter im Vorwege war außergewöhnlich nett, so dass wir voll freudiger Erwartung anreisten.

Leider waren wir nicht auf das ungepflegte Umfeld und die neben dem Haus liegende Großbaustelle vorbereitet, beides war weder auf den Fotos erkennbar noch fand sich ein Hinweis in der Beschreibung der Wohnung. Dies hätten wir auf jeden Fall in Bezug auf die Großbaustelle erwartet. Das Wohnhaus mit etwa 18 WE ist in einem vernachlässigten und außen mit Graffiti besprühten Zustand, dies im Bereich des Erdgeschosses/ Hauseingang. Der Hausflur roch unangenehm trotz des offen stehenden Flurfensters, so dass wir zunächst froh waren, die Wohnungstür hinter uns schließen zu können. Dann blickten wir aus dem Fenster und sahen, dass unterhalb des Balkons eine Großbaustelle lag. Hier wurde erwartungsgemäß am folgenden Morgen mit der Arbeit begonnen. Der Balkon war demzufolge nicht nutzbar und der Ausblick entsprechend. An diesem Ort wollten wir unsere wenigen wertvollen Urlaubstage nicht verbringen und teilten dem Vermieter noch am Abend der Anreise mit, dass wir am folgenden Morgen wieder ausziehen würden. Mit einer Erstattung der Mietzahlung für die nicht genutzten Übernachtungen war er nicht einverstanden.

The property was very clean and had most conveniences of a North American home so very good for tourists. Very close to the beach and restaurants.

We enjoyed our accommodation at Il Giglio di Mare, everything is set by the owners to ensure the comfort of tourists. Lovely decorated apartment, clean and with good facilities, close to the beach. The fact that the apartment is designed with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was great for our group’s necessities. The city center is a 15 minutes walk from the property and the central train station around 20 minutes. Marcello was very helpful to all our needs and made sure we have a pleasant stay.

The location is very convenient; you can reach the beach within 3-5 minutes on foot and the city center in about 10-12 minutes. It's quiet, with plenty of supermarket options nearby. On the way to the center, there are numerous bars, gelaterias, pasticcerias, and restaurants. The train station is a 20-minute walk from the apartment. I really appreciated Marcello's hospitality. Additionally, he promptly answered all my questions. I truly appreciated the cleanliness of the place and its location near the beach. The self check-in was a great bonus since I arrived late in the evening. The wifi worked perfectly; although I didn't work from the apartment, it seemed suitable for remote work. Overall, I had a pleasant stay here and I'll book again when in Pescara.

Close to the beach and town. Modern, easy access, very clean

We loved this apartment! It was very nicely decorated, clean, comfortable with lots of thoughtful extras left for us too. Best of all was the balcony and the views. Everything had been carefully thought out to maximise our enjoyment and relaxation. The hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming and informative when we met them. Visits to Bari old city, to Trulli houses in Alberobello and to Matera were excellent.

If you want to feel like a special guest, not just another tourist, stay in this apartment :) Marcello took care of everything, The apartment is comfortable, beautifully decorated with attention to detail; clean, wonderfully equipped, 5 min away from the beach. Marcello prepared handbook with useful information and inspiration about what to see in Pescara and Abruzzo Thank you !!!

Modern apartment, equipped with everything you need, located close to the sea and also close to the city center, with free parking available. The owner is very kind and helpful.
