The location was ideal. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well - it was needed! The room was spacious

We had to wait outside in the street for over 2 hours in blistering heat with all our baggage, including perishable food, to gain access to the apartment without any apology or reason. this was after the landlady had agreed to meet us with the keys at 14:00 on the day. (Our plan to watch the World Cup Women's football final that day was ruined.) The refrigerator's cooling wasn't adequate and most of our perishable food 'went off' after the first night. I cut my thumb on a poorly and unstable table leg which had been poorly repaired. I also burned my hand on inappropriate kitchenware (an oven pan with a metal handle is provided for the hotplate (There is no oven there and the handle gets scoulding hot.) I was in pain throughout the 4-day vacation due to these avoidable incidents. The microwave and plate cover were dirty and splashed with old oil respectively. The view from the balcony was of a neglected and left-to-ruin pool with no child's paddling pool which is what we expected. There were only 6 terrestrial channels on the TV, no cable or internet-connected channels as advertised. There was no toilet paper provided and no bin for soiled toiletries, a standard facility in Bulgarian bathrooms to avoid the need for flushing. We were again kept waiting for the landlady to arrive to collect the keys at 12:00 on our departure day and were told to leave the keys on the table and depart, only after WE had to call her at 12:15. No apology for any of the above and we didn't even get the name of the landlord or a chance to address her in person before we left. Not a place we would stay at again, mainly due to the lack of communication from the landlady who didn't even give us her name!
