Perfect location and well appointed. Had everything we needed.

Location

The apartment was overshadowed by a heavy, stale odor — something that clung to the air no matter how wide the windows were opened. The dishes and frying pan were scratched and in such bad condition they seemed unsafe and potentially toxic to use. Guests are required to wash dishes before leaving. The stove barely works — we tried boiling water for over 30 minutes and it never boiled. A cockroach in the bathroom was a standard. The 10:00 a.m. checkout time is far too early and adds unnecessary pressure. The security deposit requirement feels unreasonable given there’s nothing of real value in the apartment, and waiting a full week for its return is excessive. On top of that, a city tax is added that they ask you to pay in cash and leave on the table (what is it - 1985?)
