Pros: the room was clean and had a kitchenette. Cons: - the air in the room was damp and mouldy - the host did not speak a word in English, all the instructions were sent in German and this made things more complicated - I used their in-house vending machine and received an expired bottle of beer…I then used the vending machine in front of their building and got an expired pack of chips…I was definitely not expecting this in Germany… Bottom line: I would not book this place again even for half the price.

A very cozy and nice hotel located five minutes walk from the Roßtal-Wegbrücke S-Bahn station. This is a small quiet town with a Town Hall, cobblestone streets and two supermarkets. There is a pizzeria and a bakery next to the hotel. Trains to Nuremberg and Ansbach run twice an hour, more often in the morning. If you are surprised by the high rating on Booking, then after check-in you will understand why it's so. The hotel really meets all the stated criteria. The room has everything for a comfortable stay both for a long time and for one night. The mini-kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare home-cooked food. The bathroom has a spacious shower and all the necessary bath accessories. The room is really clean. And if you want peace and quiet at night, this is truly a great option for a restful sleep. It's really quiet around there. So highly recommended. It would be nice to stay in this place again.

As this building is not new and I got a room on the first floor, I encountered a very cold floor. Keep this in mind and bring some slippers. I was also a little disappointed by the very soft mattress. Unfortunately, it's not very comfortable to sleep on. I prefer a harder, orthopedic one.
