A really cost apartment, with some lovely and quirky antique features. A great location for exploring Taunton on foot. The host was incredibly helpful and thoughtful, without being intrusive.

I liked everything, but it's worth being aware that the ceiling is quite low.

Central location and ambience of the property. The property had charm and loads of character. Large living space added to overall comfort

We prefer a firmer mattress

Location is very central and the apartment is quirky and full of character. Lots of old antique furniture and charm. Mark is an excellent host and as well as welcoming us on arrival he also took time to show us around the small apartment and ensured we knew where to find the coffee/t bags etc. Mark also provided us with fresh milk and chilled water. We didn't use the garden so I cannot comment on this. There is also free off street parking 2 minutes away and which Mark also took the time to show us where it was. Very good value for money

The small courtyard has potential to be more tidier and welcoming.

lovely spacious apartment that was very clean and well laid out. very old world charm and some beautiful furniture. Lola the dog is a real beauty too.

I might bring some slippers next time though I loved the stone floors.

Beautiful old English charm but has all the modern technology and fitting you need. Don't be put off the property as next to the road, when inside you're a world away from it all. Mark and Lola, were very welcoming. Mark showed me around the flat and where everything was and how to use it, said any issues or help just ask as they live upstairs. The kitchen has everything you need, space to sit down and eat, or work. Doors to the main garden, lead to the gate into Vivary park, which is beautiful. Comfortable bed, space for hanging clothes, door to private courtyard, that is beautiful like being in a lost garden. Bathroom clean, fresh towels and toiletries. the lounge has 2 comfortable sofas, again very charming. TV. You won't regret staying here.

This accommodation is spacious and whilst the property is old it has been well modernised. For example flagstone floors with rugs, modern lighting and well insulated given the very cold weather. Spacious and comfortable with all mod cons. Shower was hot and powerful. Property was well maintained on the ground floor area literally across the road from the shops and cafes backing onto Viviary Park. Cooking facilities were good. Host provides tea/coffee, milk & sugar.
