By the Lake - Lake Macquarie

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The location was absolutely perfect, with easy access to local attractions, shops, and public transport—everything was right at my doorstep. The breakfast was a standout—fresh, delicious, and a great way to start each day. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for convenience and a tasty start to their mornings!

The property was clean, tidy and spacious, the hosts respected our privacy and the breakfast portions were generous. It was centrally located for our purposes being close to the Marmong Point marina. It was easy to travel to Toronto or Warner's Bay and across the road from the lake and walking path.

There was no one negative that stood out rather it was the sum of the small things. Given the price per night (which was reasonable) we thought some of the choices of the hosts including food (e.g. teas and coffees) and toiletries (e.g. hand soaps and body wash) could have been more "premium". This said, it was all appreciated.

We loved that the property is situated directly across from the lake enabling us to sit, relax and enjoy the view. Our hosts Max and Gabrielle provided an excellent array of food to have during our stay. Fresh fruit, eggs, yoghurt, milk, breads and cereals as well as the usual tea/coffee provisions. All you would need and more. Max was very helpful and spent time showing us around and providing information on the local walks, art gallery and cafes. The property was well laid out and comfortable. The pool was clean, refreshing and private. We would recommend anyone to stay at this property.

The breakfast selection was great and the quantity of food supplied way more than we could possibly eat! The location was perfect overlooking a park setting beside the lake facing north

Wonderful selection of breakfast foods. Didn’t want for anything. Good location across the road from lake & walking track.

A broken leg on bedside table. Cold water tap in kitchen sink leekes. needs new “o” ring.
