By the Lake - Lake Macquarie

it was very spacious, well-equipped & the owners had provided lovely breakfast consumables which were wonderful. We were there for the Newcastle 500 & it was wonderful to retreat back to this lovely abode in Lake Macquarie across from the water - very peaceful & relaxing.

There was not a lot to fault - missing an egg slider for our bacon & eggs!!!! Everything was great!

Breakfast was good & the location was excellent.

No dislikes to mention.

Only thing was the lack of air conditioning, very hot concidering it's aspect to the sun. Probably wouldn't stay in summer again, but winter for sure.

The pool was the perfect place to cool off after my runs along the Lake Macquarie foreshore. The weekly Saturday Parkrun starts directly across the road. The property is clean, well laid out and generously sized. The kitchen was stocked with tea, coffee, bread and some fruit, breakfast cereals and yogurt and some beautiful fresh eggs. It’s a very short walk across the road to be beautiful Lake Macquarie and the walking/cycling tracks round to Spears Point, Warners Bay and Eleebana. Jump on a bike or on foot and explore around Five Islands or the Tulkaba Park Playground. I liked it so much I am looking for a reason to go back.

it’s not a dislike just a note; read the detail. it is not air conditioned. There is a gas heater for summer and a fan for winter and of course the pool.
