This house is amazing 11/10. Everything is new and spotless clean. It is very, very spacious, has also a huge utility room. Cozy and warm. The house is much better than in photos. We absolutely loved it. Perfectly located , 10 minutes from Quiraing and 10 min from Old man of Storr. Very accessible, close to the road but far enough as to feel in the countryside in the middle of nowhere with sea views. Owners live in a house 3 minutes away and are very helpful. Would definitely recommend this place for a visit to Skye. Kitchen had all you could need and more, just make sure you bring the shopping with you. There are two similar houses so ideal place to book for two families traveling together as well. Will definitely recommend to all my friends. A hidden gem.

Having to leave!

I loved feeling like we were in a super remote area, with gorgeous sea views. The cottage was really spacious, which made it a great place to look forward to returning to after a big day of hiking. I was so grateful there was a bath tub so I could take a hot bath after our hikes! The kitchen was fully equipped and we enjoyed home cooked meals which was especially beneficial since the town is a good distance away. I also liked that there were old CDs and DVDs to enjoy, making it feel a little bit like a throwback holiday. I also loved the "Please Remove Shoes" sign at the entry because it really did keep the floors nice and clean - I really felt like the whole place was kept very tidy.

I noticed on the reviews that the WiFi didn't rate super high, and we were nervous when for the first 1-2 hours onsite we couldn't get the WiFi to work, because we are from overseas and didn't have cell reception. But fortunately it did start working, although it wasn't always the best connection. We definitely relied on the DVD collection to entertain ourselves because there wasn't any TV connection--it made us feel even more cozy and disconnected from the outside world, so that was a plus! I think a few board games at the cottage would be nice since it is so remote and would further add to the feeling of being "disconnected" for a few days. :-)

Zeer ruim huis. Van alle gemakken voorzien. In een schitterende omgeving. Hele hartelijke ontvangst. En zeer comfortabel bed.
