Contractor House - TVs in All Rooms - Parking

This accommodation is situated in a great location, near shopping centres and close enough to the city centre. It was equipped with everything we needed. Rooms were spacious and clean. There's also plenty of parking on the street next to the house. We had an issue with broadband, but it was quickly fixed by a member of staff. Overall it was a very nice place to stay. 🙂

We only found two forks (not enough for a family of four). But everything else was fine. 👌

We brought our own.

Everything, dirty, smelt of smoke, really needed updating, very warm, TVs did not work. Too many flight of stairs. Steps down to flat very dangerous especially for elderly people.

Plenty of space, clean and comfortable.

Steps down to the property are dangerous in the dark, the outside security light was temperamental. Toaster doesn’t work. Shower is on ground floor and bedroom on 2nd floor. Little inconvenient when getting ready.

Location was perfect for visiting lots of different areas around Wales.

Firstly we were given the incorrect code for the key safe. Bedrooms on listing stated 2 bedrooms, 1 double bed & 1 with twin beds. Which is what we wanted. On arrival I room had a double & single, 2nd room just 1 single bed. Only mirror upstairs was a small bathroom one. Main bathroom on ground floor. Listing also stated bath & a shower. Only shower in ground floor bathroom. Just a toilet on upper floor next to bedrooms. 1st floor lounge area had a Dining table meaning had to carry food upstairs. There was plenty of room in kitchen to have a table & chairs as well. Toaster & oven didn't work!!! Would not sit in outside area due to seeing a rat on our 2nd day climbing the steps to get upto road. On returning to apartment after a day out we noticed someone had been in the property, we were not aware of this and made us feel very nervous. Spoke to agent to advised us of another maintenance visit due, which we asked to be cancelled.
