The location was good considering it was a taxi journey to the centre

The outside staircase was broken and a hazard , the terrace you see on the pictures is deceiving considering it’s a felt rooftop of the fish and chip shop below with no fencing around it to make it safe. The flat accommodates for groups yet the single beds were not single bed size so fully grown adults couldn’t fit on them so we’re uncomfortable for the stay. The whole flat was run down and not like the pictures advertised at all.

Lovely spacious, clean apartment. Only 10-15 minute walk to restaurants and seafront. 15-20 minutes to the theatre. Perfect for a group of friends or family. All the essentials were already there, for example tea, coffee, sugar, cleaning products, shampoo etc. Owner was very quick to reply to messages and very helpful.

Only 2 things that let it down slightly: Fire alarm went off for no reason. Phoned the owner who answered immediately and gave a code. Would be handy if warned about this before arriving, as apparently it happens occasionally. Also the noise of the fans from takeaway downstairs was annoying. Luckily we were out most of the time. Noise stopped at 11pm.

Property was very clean and spacious. it was well set-up. We were very pleased to get a late check-out too. The owners have clearly made a big effort to make it a good place to stay.

The extractor fan (we think) from the take-away was really noisy and did not stop until 11pm. The main living room - which was very nice - was too noisy to sit in and we could hear it in the big bedroom until 11pm. The apartment is also right above a pedestrian crossing so the beeping sound when someone crossed started around 6.30am which was a bit frustrating.

The property was far bigger than expected and was left extremely clean and tidy. We had 5 adults stay and there was plenty of pace for us all - we all had a great stay and we’re very impressed with the accommodation. We would all highly recommend and stay here again!!

We loved the property but the road it’s on can be a little noisy at night and it can be a little difficult to park nearby however none of that is a reflection of the hosts as these are external factors that the host has no control over!

Clean, spacious. Close to seafront and town for walking. Good facilities nearby,eg fast food takeaways, pub and taxi office.
