Gorgeous find a 5 min walk outside the city walls. Really well laid out with a good kitchen and plenty of space. Bedrooms have air-con which was a lifesaver when temperatures hit 36oC outside (but the unit in the single room is noisy so if you’re very sensitive to noise consider bringing an ear plug). Mooney was an amazing host telling us about local sites, recommending places to eat and even providing bikes so we had a fabulous afternoon cycling along the river. Treviso was beautiful and we couldn’t have stayed in a better place. My only regret is not having longer here!

Beautiful old house in a quaint Italian town. Host was very quick to respond to messages. Pretty easy access to Venice, although we would have needed to take a bus to get to train station, so we drove into Mestre for trip to Venice. Still, an easy walk to old Treviso which was beautiful, and we had a great dinner at a place the host not only recommended but also set up our reservation. Great to have 2 1/2 baths and a laundry room available.

Hard to complain about an historic house but it did have a few quirks of an older structure, like some old hardware that needed coaxing, but nothing really problematic. I will point out that the apartment was on the "second" floor counting Italian style, which means 2 flights of stairs so 3rd floor if you count American style. And access to the secondary bedrooms was up another tight spiral staircase so not for the frail, but we had no issues with that; and it really was a lovely old house with plenty of space (but don't expect to have an entire villa to yourself--it's one large apartment among a few others which is pretty typical).

Bath in private bathroom adjacent to downstairs bedroom needs a little attention.
