Tiny cozy studio in the city center

Great location - within 10 minutes by foot you can reach the center of Trieste. The apartment is very comfy, with yellow lighting, nice wall colors and comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped with a medium sized fridge that also had a freezer. The check-in went smoothly, the instructions were sent ahead of time and were easy to understand and follow.

There was no free parking available. We were lucky to find a free spot on the side of the road with our small car about 5 minutes away after driving around for a while. There was very little natural lighting in the room. The only window in the room itself opens to the inside of a residential courtyard. Furthermore, the window was broken - we couldn't close it all the way. After notifying the host, we didn't received any response.

The place was conveniently located at the train station, and collecting the keys was a piece of cake. The room is of a decent size. We did not use the kitchenette, but there was coffee, so bonus point.

The isolation was poor, the noise from outside and other rooms were clearly audible. We stayed just one evening to relax from the road, but we woke up even more tired due to the uncomfortable bed, which made it difficult for us to get a good night's sleep. For the price, I would expect more.

The internet did not work. The air conditioner worked but the fan was very squeaky I had to shut it off. It didn't like be reminded twice to check out on time 20 minutes after I got there.

Location was the best thing.

Shortage of hot water in the morning: my partner got a half hot/half cold shower; when I went to have one the water was completely cold. Coffee machine couldn't be got to work. Only window opened onto a ventilation shaft.

Located in a perfect area! Close walk to train station and magnificent center center. Had all the necessities for a comfortable stay.

The only complaint is having to take cold showers as the hot water wasn't working during my stay.

Good location, everything I needed for a short stay in the city.

I had major problems with the key in the door lock. It took several minutes to get it locked/unlocked, and at night, I couldn't get it locked at all. I had to push a chair against the door to keep it closed.
