Sandown Seaside Apartment Ground Floor

This was not the place we stayed in,the day before our travel we were told that this apartment is not available as they have extended for people already staying for another week even though we already had that booked and they can only provide us with an apartment in different town. As we didn’t had any other option because of time constraint we had to accept with the other apartment. This review is for the other apartment- The location was not what we wanted as it was a very busy road and we were looking for a quieter place. We booked all the things to do for our 7 year old based on the previous location around and in Sandown but because of the change we had to travel everyday from Ryde to Sandown which was additional cost,time and effort. The amenities were old for instance towels had holes in them. Overall it was not what we were expecting.

Location, lots of space in the apartment, really helpful hosts, had everything we needed for a short stay, very accessible with a buggy for a little one.

Nothing other than some of the pictures (first picture table in bay window, second bedroom image) on the website are not the apartment - so we were a little confused, we think maybe two properties were merged, just giving feedback here so they can be updated.

Beautiful apartment. Fantastic host that was easily contactable. A big local shop outside the front of the apartments and about a 3 minute walk to the beach and about 15 minutes walk along the beach front to the zoo which is the best zoo I've ever been to. And if booking the zoo for under £16 per person you can return the next day for £1 each which we did. Lots of places to eat if you don't feel like cooking. The apartment felt like a home from home we were so comfortable. Definitely rebooking 😁

Location is very close to the beach, the kitchen was very clean.

An extra blanket or throw for cold weather would work well

Lovely location just 2 minutes from the beach, clean house, plenty of space and lots of small details thought of and covered

Awesome place to stay with family on holiday. Perfect for a small family(2+2). Apartment has all the facilities you can imagine, including all kitchen stuff + Iron + 2*TV. My four year old daughter was able to run and play in the sitting area so you can imagine it was good size sitting area. Everything was clean to the standard. Very quite place to live. I requested them during booking to help me to give birthday surprise to my wife, they were kind enough to help me with that. They decorated the room with balloons and flowers to give the best surprise to my wife. During my stay I contacted the staff for some guidance / questions they were very helpful in responding to my messages. Definitely coming again and recommend others.

No parking and you have to find parking in near by street which wasn't that bad. Entrance to apartment from main road was just ok but apartment itself was lovely. Bed mattress was ok but may be I am used to of hard mattress so it was too soft for me.
