Lakeside Lodge

Lovely peaceful setting. Heating was put on for us arriving. Nice and clean. Plenty of fire wood, lovely little touch with the little extras. We have stayed here 4 times now, and it is one of our favourite places. Would definitely recommend.

No cup for using in the toilet for sawdust. But it was easy to use our hands, and didn't spoil our visit. Also no running water in the outside toilet hut, however found the tap to switch it on in the morning. Again it didn't spoil our stay.

It’s just perfect if you want to spend quality time together in a beautiful and tranquil location. Thoroughly recommend cooking on the fire pit, plenty of wood provided.

Location, privacy, fire pit, hot shower and parrot!

TV remote control missing, not a big deal as not there to watch TV! The shower hut bolt doesn't work. Signage isn't clear, as in faded.

The location was fantastic The setting was amazing The horses near by and the parrot that came to visit us a few times was beautiful and kept the kids very amused Everything about location and lodge were fantastic

The sofa bed was too small for both kids so my partner had to sleep on the floor whilst they shared the big bed n I slept on sofa bed disturbed sleep set more for a family of 3 not 4

The pull out bed was very small for our 2 pre-teen girls and the mattress was very thin for them. This did affect the girls and therefore our sleep.
