Some of the door handles were old and fell off when we closed the door. Opening the front door requires greater strength than a usual door . It would also be helpful if communication was also done in English for those of us who only speak one language.

Location is very central although it was noisy but that is to be expected for the location.

The location of the apartment is excellent.

The furnishings and equipment is very run down. Front door is difficult to open, bathroom door has no handle or lock. Good equipment in the kitchen but not very clean and all of it is old.

3 coffees pod for 2 people for 3 nights. No WiFi, place is older than it looks, no sound proof doors and windows (you can hear people dragging luggages in the middle of the night) but what really upset us the most was the house rules with threatening messages such as ‘ you must put the key back on the outside safe/locker or you will be charged €50! OR If you make noises after 10pm you will have immediate expulsion!’ Such a contradiction.. I should not put the keys back on an outside locker, you should have a second key? What if I forgot? And don’t talk about noises when there is such a noisy and dirty terrace! I booked this place with filters for balcony and the balcony is tiny and full of stuff that should be thrown away. The main terrace is awful and there are no chairs and tables, so you cannot use the outside space at all.

Location

The location of this apartment is exceptional, at the centre of Seville and easy walking distance to all the main attractions. The communal areas were all very clean and the lift was working throughout the stay. We stayed in January when the mornings/evenings were cold, the air con was very efficient and kept us comfortably warm. We also had plenty of very hot water available at all times. The kitchen is small but well equipped - even a dishwasher and washing machine, we didn't use anything other then the kettle and coffee maker. Cleaning equipment is provided as is coffee, tea, cooking oil and a few condiments. Toiletries are also provided in the bathroom (but bring conditioner if you need it). There is a hairdryer. TV and WiFi all worked well. The beds were very comfortable and can be raised electronically at head and foot. There were extra pillows available but no extra bedding or towels. Things such as paper towels, light bulbs, batteries etc. are in the cupboard opposite the bedroom. The living room is very comfortable and is nicely furnished and decorated, but the TV is in the wrong place for viewing. 3 balconies overlooking the street (and neighbours) were fantastic and let in lots of late afternoon sunshine. There is a communal rooftop terrace available, a real suntrap, but very unattractive with just a couple of plastic chairs - it could be made lovely with a little effort but I suspect would need input from the neighbours. A lot of reviews mention noise, we experienced some from street cleaners and late night revellers on their way home, BUT you're in the middle of a city - what do you expect? Overall, I'd say it was very quiet. We like this apartment a lot but it would now benefit from a fresh lick of paint, a deep clean throughout including all floors and furnishings and additional bedding and towels including one for the kitchen. I hope to return to Seville and this apartment would be my first choice of accommodation.

When we arrived (after 10 pm) the apartment hadn't been cleaned since the last occupants. However, one call to the hosts and it was sorted with no drama (we went out to eat and it was all good when we returned). We had good communications with the hosts during our stay and they were very quick to respond and answer our queries. We've no complaints.

The owner is completely non responsive if you have any issues and does not return messages or phone calls. We had an issue with the cleaner who stole all our food from the fridge (caught her in the act so there is no doubts about this) and not being able to find the wifi password. Tried to contact the host multiple times and nil response. In the end had to contact booking.com support to contact the host to get the wifi password. He responded immediately to them but not to his guests. Also Seville in summer is VERY VERY HOT. The host has the air conditioner key padlocked to the front door key so you cant leave the air conditioner on when you go out. When you get the home the apartment is like an oven and takes hours to cool down. There is no way to regulate the temperature so them=n you wake up in the early hours of the morning and its freezing. Def DO NOT STAY HERE IS SUMMER.
