Stafford Modern Apartment

The property was clean and the host responsive to messages around 2 issues we raised (however, one of them couldnt be fixed during our stay which was a light that created a genuine health and safety risk of a significant nature). But we appreciate tom taking the time to do their best to try and solve it. communication was clear from the property and the property was warm when heating was on. we had an intermittent issue with the washing amchine - however an engineer was called and it was fixed and it was very prompt - appreciate this from the staff

I have never written a negative review in 9 years and 31 stays on this platform - however we where so dissappointed by the property i feel its only fair to right a review that reflects the property - shower pressure and coverage very poor with a tiny showerhead im 6foot1 and could not comfortably use the shower to wash - the bed frame was broken (springs sticking out from the internal frame ) and they had put a SMALL double matress on a double bed frame (you can see this in the pictures) - significant cracks and stains on the walls including above the bed in the bedroom - no actual couch in the property - instead an old tattered garden furniture had been placed in the kitchen - it was super uncomfortable with massive holes in the threadbare side meaning nowhere comfortable to sit to wacth the tv provided (again pictures provided) - the bedroom light flickers so intensely on and off rapidly it was unusable (video taken) we where informed an electrician couldnt come for a week to fix the serious issue of a broken stair light so no chance this could be fixed as the ceilings where too tall - the carpets into the bedroom had completly lifted, threadbare and not attached at the door - this isnt recent its clearly needed updating (pictures provided) most egregiously - communal stair light was broken - it is currently dark 4pm until 8/9am - the stair was so dark you could not see in front of yoru face at all without a phone torch - my partner tripped and fell twice through the week (thankfully no major injury) whilst the team did reply when we informed them - we foudn out from neighbours the light had been out for over a week and no action ahd been taken yet (video provided of pure black) the property is under invested in , and doesnt reflect the pictures on the advert - we paid for convenince and comofrt over a hotel and felt the extra cost didnt meet the expected threshold. we paid similar last year for a much higher spec property do not recommend.

I liked that we were close to a lot of very good restaurants and takeaways as well as being close to Aberdeen City centre without it being noisey.

The TV was broken when we tried to switch it on, and the hosts didn't get back to us when we had reported this early on in our stay.

Tore down. There were only 3 wobbly chairs for a booking for 4 adults Mold in shower

Everything! The location, the cleaning, fully equipped kitchen! Comfortable beds what make everything better!

Well equipped, close to city center and kings college

It was clean. Location was good.

It was very basic. I didn't like the sofa in the kitchen. It was a garden sofa.The kitchen chairs were broken. The oven smoked a lot when on starting the smoke detectors. Parking was a nightmare as you can only park for 3 hours at 3.20. Then you have to move the car and park somewhere else for the next 3 hours at the same cost. So 6.40 per day parking
