Forest Resort Suites Skiathos

Host is very nice and really helpful, wonderful person. She helped us with everything we needed. The resort is VERY clean, they cleaned the rooms every day and changed our matresses and towels every other day. Location is good, at night it gets a bit chilly, which is great when you spend the whole day out in the sun. Mind you, you have to go to the beaches by car or rent an ATV. You have a bus station just a short 5 minute walk away from the resort, but it's not as often as the ones close to the city, so plan your mornings according to the bus schedule if you are going to use it, you have a website where you can check when the next one is coming. There is a big parking lot inside the resort, covered with cameras, so you don't have to worry about that. Taxi is 20 euros from the resort to Skiathos town, you can ask the host to order one or take the number for yourself.

The only thing that was bad was WiFi, I don't know if the provider is bad or the connection is just bad as it's a bit uphill, but you can just get a Greek internet SIM card and your problem is solved.

The hotel is in a location surrounded by vegetation, peace and birds. The owner is an architect and the location is built according to her concept. I checked in early as soon as I arrived at the location. The hotel is clean, only opened for 4 years.

Wow! The suite was beautiful. So tasteful and elegant, and fully, fully equipped with everything you need. The balcony was also lovely, and very relaxing. The hosts were super kind and warm. I thought the room was really good value for money.

As others have commented, as it is right next to a main road, it was a little noisy at times. There was also a lot of noise from other people in the hotel - both when I was on the balcony trying to read (there were people being really loud elsewhere in the hotel) and when I was trying to sleep (there was a late checkin next to my room and there was constant loud chatter literally right outside the door as a result - this was around 10/11pm). The hotel is also not literally in the middle of a forest as I had thought - it is amongst trees though, which is still very pretty.

Very clean, quiet (the road was a bit loud but not soon in the morning), good equipted for basic cooking
