Mario Lakeside Apartments

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Mario Lakeside Apartements. Die Unterkunft direkt am See ist wirklich schön und das Essen im hauseigenen Restaurant sehr lecker. Ali hat alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt. Über ihn konnten wir einen Roller mieten und er hat sich für uns auch um den Wäscheservice gekümmert.

Amazing view over the lake. Great balcony for relaxing with a drink. Hammock was wonderfully restful. Large, comfortable bed with mosquito net. Plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. Spacious layout with a sitting room and kitchenette. Met directly from the ferry, which stops at the private pier. Helpful assistance carrying luggage up the steps. Excellent vegetarian restaurant at street level. Convenient grocery shop next door and laundrette nearby.

The steps up to the apartment are quite steep. Noise from jet skis on the lake could be irritating at times, although this affects all the accommodation in the area.

Cosy apartment with everything you need to cook and store cold beverages (fridges available). However, go here for the owner which really goes the extra mile: I paid for 3 nights but I ended up staying one as I got food positioning in Berastagi. The room was empty for 2 nights, still the owner refunded me of 1 night.

Extremely spacious and clean apartment in the perfect location on the lakeside. The host is such a nice person, extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful views and a comfy hammock!

Tolles niedliches Appartement direkt am See mit atemberaubenden Blick. Sehr sauber. Etwas einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Hängematte auf dem Balkon.. Top. Ali war super nett und hat sich um alle unsere Anliegen gekümmert und dazu noch ein tolles Frühstück gemacht!

Etwas einfache Ausstattung aber für den Preis total angemessen.

Ich war völlig überrascht von der Größe des Zimmers: Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer, Küche mit Kühlschrank, Bad (mit heißem Wasser). Auf der Terrasse eine Hängematte sowie Stühle und Tisch mit Blick auf den See und einen Wasserfall in der Ferne. Großartig. Auf dem großen Bett habe ich bestens geschlafen. Die Fähre hält direkt am Steg der Unterkunft. Man braucht also auf der Insel keinen Transfer mehr. Im Restaurant kann hervorragend essen.

Heerlijk ruim appartement aan het meer! De werknemers zijn mega vriendelijk en helpen je waar nodig. Het restaurantje boven de appartementen serveert heerlijk vegetarisch eten, echt een aanrader ook!!

This is a spacious 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchen. We used the fridge a lot for fruit and beverages, but ate all our meals at Horas restaurant up the (62) stairs. BTW, you can buy booze of just about any kind at a reasonable price at a mini market 300 meters away. Lake Toba is primarily a Christian town. The owner speaks pretty good English and can help with activities. We had him arrange a tuktuk (motorcycle with side car) to go to a museum, wait and return. There are only 2 apartments and it's well arranged for privacy. Everything in the restaurant is delicious! Even if you don't stay here, you should try the restaurant. The vegetarian choices are exceptional. Water bottle filling is free for restaurant patrons (and renters). To carch the ferry to Parapat, you and your luggage just go down 20-30 stairs and the transfer ferry will pick you up. (While we were there, this service was hourly at 45 minutes after the hour, 0645 to 1545.) You pat 25K IDR per person on the ferry & they can help with your luggage. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace and relaxing. There's a long waterfall in the hills of Samosir island that you have a great view of from inside or outside.

There's a nearby skidoo water sport rental - way too much noise when someone rents them. There are nicer apartments nearby for very good prices and fewer stairs. But every hotel on the waterfront has stairs.

The food in the restaurant, ease of getting a scooter, the central location, the view.

At the end of our stay it turned out that we could only pay with cash. There is 1 ATM nearby which charges 50rb per 1,250,000 you withdraw. WiFi was also quite unreliable in the apartment. Video call is only possible without video. There were also a lot of dead ants on the floor every morning to sweep out.

Excellent emplacement et excellent restaurant! Personnel avenant.
