Hillside Seaview Apartment

Magnifique logement, spacieux et bien équipé dans un environnement très calme, entouré d'oliviers et juste le chant des cigales. Vue exceptionnelle sur le couché de soleil Piscine au top ! Bonne situation pour parcourir l'ouest de la Crète et la péninsule. Dimitris est un hôte vraiment charmant Je conseille cet appartement.

The property is absolutely stunning and the views are absolutely second to none. Looking forward to staying again. Although booked up for 2026 so will have to wait until 2027.

We had a wonderful stay at Hillside apartment. The highlight was our host Dimitris who was so kind and hospitable. He ensured we were well looked after and had everything we need. He was always available and welcomed us with a smile, a bottle of wine and some fruit! The view was beautiful over the olive trees, mountains and sea and we loved having some wine whilst watching the sunset as the kids swam in the pool. It was about a 15-20min drive into the main area of Chania, so you definitely need a car. However, just down the road there is a small supermarket, beach and many cafes and restaurants. The apartment was very well equiped with everything you would need to have a self sufficient stay even down to a beach umbrella. Thank you Dimitris, it was a pleasure to meet you!

La vue sur la mer, les oliviers, la piscine et la surface spacieuse de l'appartement.

La veille de notre arrivée nous sommes informés que la taxe de séjour est passée de 2€/nuit à 15€/nuit. En restant objectif : La propreté tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur est à revoir pour un appartement classé comme supérieur. Appartement mal isolé. Nous sommes déçus de la prestation au vu du tarif relativement élevé.

Host was amazing, very helpful. We received nice gifts and our stay was full of joy, relax and quiet. Strongly recommend for families. Pool was very clean. If we will be back definitely we will choose this apartment.

Dimitris, the owner of the apartment, welcomed us on our arrival with some bread, cheese and cold cuts, a basket filled with apples, oranges and bananas, and a bottle of white wine. A great start for our vacation. The apartment is nice, has a large terrace and the kids loved the swimming pool. There are actually four appartments on the property. But only two are used for guests. We didn’t see the neighbors at all, just their super friendly dog who was extremely happy to see us coming back every day talking to him. There was also a puppy greeting us on a couple of days. There are a lot of appliances in the kitchen (stove and oven, fridge and freezer, microwave, greek coffee maker, water heater, toaster, and a coffee pad machine). Even some basics like olive oil, some spaghetti, salt, pepper, etc are already there. And there is also a washing machine, a small safe and loads of space. Overall the apartment is functional and nice. Perfect for a down to earth vacation. Before we left, Dimitris popped by for a good bye chat and to drop off a gift: cretan herbal tea. :) Such a nice guy.

Well hard to criticize something when the owner is so nice and caring. Like everywhere in Greece, there are stray cats who are very curious and can be slightly annoying when you want to eat on the terrace. Over time they kind of learned we would not feed them and so they became less annoying. So it is rather a hint for the next guests rather than a complaint.

Very nice stay and beautiful view. You have to have a car to get there, but it is worth it. Rooms are large, very good for 4 persons. The pool is shared with another appartment.

What a stunning location and the host was exceptional. First holiday abroad in 35 years and cannot wait to go back again. Will definitely be booking this property again.
