Nothing at all very disappointing

The toilet was in a very bad condition I have pictures of how the toilet was pan was really old and dirty very that could be a health hazard the stone was only going on and off could not cook anything the microwave was not heating up the food we also got attacked by monkeys they came into the unit and took our fruits and bread

The bunk beds had no dowels in them so fell on my daughter and hurt her. No bath towels. You had to pay extra for those. Service was VERY BASIC. No making of beds. No dustpan or brush in the unit so made it very difficult to keep the floor clean. Lift never worked the whole time we were there

The furniture was old For that area they should upgrade their furniture The fridge was leaking Due to the monkeys they should have a fan the house is always damp becos u can not open a window or door

In Feb 2023, my family (or part thereof) and I stayed at Cozumel 311 and I am really disappointed. There are various aspects which I have listed below. 1. Accompanying me, was my 71 year old handicapped grandmother and it was a dismal experience that the lift was not working and there were no alternate way up for handicapped persons. This should have been communicated in advance as the lifts are out of order for a long period. As a result of this, I had to book alternate accommodation for her at Ocean Dunes at Sibaya at an additional cost of R2500. 2. The entrance to the the units starting 31 were locked and blocked with green bins. This meant we had to walk down the stairs and then further out the driveway entrance/exit. On discussion with the guard, he says this is locked due to Cozumel not wanting to add an additional security guard which if true, is rather dismal. 3. The fridge/freezer did not function as required. On arrival, we stocked the fridge with some basic stuff including perishables purchased from Marine walk Spar minutes before putting into the fridge. The next morning when we woke to prepare breakfast, the bacon and other meat products purchased were warm and upon further consideration,we decided to dispose of this as being meat products, it would be unsafe to eat. 4. The lights above the dining area and lounge did not work. We had to depend on the light from the ceiling fan and the kitchen light. This made it difficult to eat supper at night. 5. The wifi , although connected, said "internet not available" throughout the weekend. 6. The sink in the toilet has a leak at the bottom pipe which rendered this as unusable as when we first used it, it caused a mess on the toilet floor. 7. On arrival, we proceeded to relax on the balcony however there was a foul smell in the area. Taking a deeper look, it was noted that the stench eminated from the mop kept in the bucket. All together - the weekend was extremely unpleasant.
