Apartment was spacious, especially the part with the living room and master bedroom. The location is fine - within walking distance from the city centre, restaurants, beach and the tram station. Easy and automated check in - retrieving keys from the lucky flats HQ about 50 meters from our "bellinda quintana" apt. Quite new and well equipped kitchen.

Bathrooms & Lucky flats pretended interest: STINKY & MOULDY - HEALTH HAZARD The bathrooms turned out to be sticky and mouldy. We decided to use the less stinky one, that was closer to the master bedroom. Despite opening windows for longer periods of time (e.g. a whole night) the stink was never gone. As it comes to the mould, it has accumulated in the showers and also at the ceiling above the shower or the toilet. It looked as if no one bothered to have the bathrooms for the guests, and the mould was advanced, so it must have been there for years, definitely not weeks. [we have photos] Furthermore, the bathrooms lacked ventilation, maybe apart from the mould it was also the sewage system that no one bothered to check that made the bathrooms so stinky. PRETENDED INTEREST I contacted the "Lucky Flats" about the mould and they received the message. Few hours later a polite lady called that they visited the flat but they are not able to get rid of the mould with what they have (it seemed they quickly realized that normal mild cleaning will not fight the monster that was hiding in the bathroom). For the first few days, we somewhat believed that they will come over and make it better. Unfortunately, none of this ever happened during our 10-day stay at the apt in September 2023. In the meantime, my wife had her mould allergy flare-up due to the above conditions. I consider this to be serious negligence, especially considering the opinions I found stating that the problems have been there months before and the lucky flats certainly have been long aware of the problem. 1) Opinion by Marunanna in may 2022 [mold], 2) Opinion from april 2022 by Tess - [stinky]. Thanks to you, The Lucky Flats - Belando Quintana, in many ways my vacation was ruined. I enjoyed Alicante and its many attractions, but I didn't enjoy my stay at the STINKY Flat, and neither did my wife with her smell sensitivity and allergy flare-up.
