Cozumel 317

Everything absolutely beautiful view. Apartment was clean and beautiful. Staff are Amazing.

I like the view, the size of the apartment. Tge kitchen had all of the facilities required

The braai area was a bit of a struggle to get to. Tried contacting the number cellphone number provided but couldn't get through.

The flat was clean everythng was provided except for a washing machine. The location and view was amazing. Security was extremely helpful and friendly. Good undercover parking, with well secured gates. Easy access to spar.

The communal braai area was extremely dirty. The grids were messed with monkey faeces as well as the seating area. The toilets at the pool area was also dirty. Not sure about the neighbour's to the left if one is facing 317 kitchen door. They were noisy in the passage area outside the 2nd room window into early parts of the morning.

Location and close proximity to tidal pool

If you’re looking for budget-friendly accommodation and willing to drag along everything you’re going to need during your stay, this unit is pretty perfect, but if you’re looking for a comfortable holiday and are maybe flying in or prefer travelling light, you should probably reconsider booking 317 Cozumel. The quaint property is safe and secure, has ample reserved parking and is within walking distance from a couple of local restaurants and a few shops. It’s perfectly located across from the well known tidal pool. The unit is equipped with a small flat screen TV with Hotel DSTV and WiFi. The living room and main bedroom has airconditioning, but it wasn’t necessary to use it during our June stay. Other than that, there is really not much else nice to say about this unit. The unit is fairly outdated, cheaply furnished, poorly decorated and the stunning beach view is sorely interrupted by sliding metal mesh gates. The unit’s less-than-basic equiptancy severely lacks what one would expect from a holiday letting in this price range: The bedding is cheap and washed out, the pillow and mattress quality is inferior, the crockery and cutlery is mismatched and there are no floor mats anywhere in the unit - something one would deem to be important in a beach house. It was frustrating to learn that the unit doesn’t come with towelling or even a basic hairdryer, toilet paper or adequate cleaning supplies. No hand wash, shampoo or even toilet cleaner. The unit is not equipped with a washer, dryer or dishwasher. The patio furniture is outdated and uncomfortable and unfortunately the braai area is away from the unit. The load-shedding lighting was a great idea, however, the absence of instructions caused us to sit with either flickering or burning lights in the middle of the night. The TV’s volume is stuck on loud and we were unable to turn it down.
