Fantastic property in a nice quiet location

Clean, tidy, quiet - great location. Appreciated the modern TV for YouTube. Good ease of access, plenty of parking space. Check in instructions / chalet guides within the property were clear & very helpful.

Despite clear, helpful instructions re shower operation, the temperature of the water still swung from scalding to lukewarm. Hot water switch location with chalet not ideal (in a bedroom). No foot stool provided to assist with reaching / opening windows to ventilate chalet as requested by owners.

Cosy old style accommodation. Roomy with a fully equipped kitchen and comfy lounge room.

The main bedroom a little small.

Parking. Nice rural area. Watchet Town. The train station.

Please do not use the excuse that you are a self-catering bungalow as a reason not to supply your £90 per night guests with the "BASIC" complimentary supplies. These are shower gel and shampoo, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, kitchen paper, hair dryer, and full-length mirror, tourist information leaflets " BASICS" for self-catering accommodation in 2024. Why you would put all the kitchen aquippment in a plastic box on the work top is beyond me when there are 2 large cupboards empty. Absolutely no effort has been made to make your guests stay a pleasant one. It has zero appeal and is furnished with nasty mis matched charity shop furniture. The only effort that has been put into this sad place was the endless signs of do and don't instructions. The bathroom is disgraceful and needs replacing. Please find yourself a better place to stay.
