Hagrid's Hut

We stayed here after visiting Warner Bros Studio tour. The location was perfect and my kids LOVED the toys, furnishings, bed covers and games. We found the beds really comfy. The flat had everything you needed. We would come again.

I don't think the WIFI was working properly. The bunk beds didn't seem that secure and rocked a little bit.

The place looks just like the photos. We were welcomed with a box of biscuits and milk in the fridge. The Harry Potter DVDs were perfect to get everyone in the mood. We are a family of 5 with the youngest being 16 and we were comfortably accommodated. We found the beds to be comfortable and the water to be hot unlike other reviews. There is roadside parking nearby but you may have to walk a minute or two.

We discovered that the water only gets hot if the radiators are on. This may have just been our experience but if not then it's our handy tip!

Clean, thoughtfully decorated and organised. Tea, coffee, milk and box of biscuits in kitchen on arrival. Sufficient supplies to use. Good working washing machine and tablets in cupboard. Sufficient towels for all guest that were lovely and soft. The cloaks hung up to borrow/use if going to Harry Potter Studios. A good entrance hall place to hang up coats and sit to take shoes off. Stair gate at top of stairs great if you have a young children (we didn't... but this is good). A selection of Harry Potter themed games, books, films etc to borrow/use whilst there which we did. Good communication from hosts by messaging prior to our arrival and again before leaving.

Even though good explanation about the front door open/lock the door handle on the front door not great needs changing as awkward and old. Weather wasn't great when we arrived, place was cold...would have been better to have heating on low so warm/comfortable temperature when get there that can be maintained throughout stay... details about the heating system (radiators/hot water) to adjust temperature/time etc would have been helpful. Hard bed the matress is awful like a brick!

The location to Harry Potter studios was super. My girls loved the decor and all the little touches around the property which kept the magic of the day going.

The house was absolutley freezing when we first got there and took a while for it to warm up. It would have been nice to have some local information about shops/takeaways that were recommended in the area as we had never been in Watford before.

The main bed was very uncomfortable and I now have a bad back.

Great decor and themed so well - enough space for us and was warm and cosy. The storm did not cause any issues :)
