Adriana Sicily House Etna & Sea

Adriana is a wonderful host. She is also very well educated about the culture and history of Sicily and can give important information on how to spend your time during your vacation. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. All recommendations for this property. Thank you, Adriana, once again.

Host Adriana met us in the late evening and we were really impressed with her hospitality. The apartment is inside private small condominium with internal yard, we had everything we needed, our bedroom view was to a quiet orchard. The location was just nice for us as we traveled by car, close to Catania and Etna (by car), close to the sea (on foot), lemon orchards all around. A public parking lot was just near the apartment. Communication was great and very friendly. We were allowed to have a late checkout and this is very much appreciated. We definitely recommend to stay here.

It has all facilifies you could live a long term stay. Really good kitchen to make a food for yourself, washing mashine even ironing possibilities.

Location is bad thing for me. If you don’t have a car you are in trouble. The closest train station is 2.5km away, so by foot is 35-40minutes to get there. To tell the truth, there is no places to eat breakfest or lunch. Even there is no market! There is only one tiny place Market bazar which is almost empty if we talking about food.

It was private, close to the sea, very comfortable, and had everything I needed.

Our stay at this place was good. Adriana, the owner, was very attentive and responsive. The flat had everything we needed, and the balcony had a nice view of Mount Etna. It was also conveniently close to both the sea and the village. We had a great time exploring the area and felt well taken care of during our stay.

One aspect that we didn't find ideal was the limited availability of buses, which led us to rent a car. The train station, although relatively close at 3 km, posed a challenge due to the absence of a proper pathway, making it feel somewhat unsafe, especially for our family with a baby. This transportation issue was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise pleasant stay.

And so our vacation ended. This is a lovely quiet, clean, refurbished hotel. You feel at home in it. Near the hotel shop, pizzeria, tobacco shop, sea. The owner Adriana is very attentive and responsive. She told us what we could see, helped us rent a car, recommended a fish restaurant with excellent cuisine. The hotel has a shuttle service from and to the airport. We want to come back.

Adriana is an excellent in hosting and her house is perfectly clean. Basic amenities, food store and a meat shop, are near by in this small village of Stazzo. When you'll arrive flying in Sicily, you don't necessarily need a car here in Stazzo. The bus stop is nearby the house. During the school days there are good bus connections to local cities of Riposto and Acireale.

Local adults litter their surroundings a lot. You'll see piles of litter along the roadsides and this is annoying,

beautiful small apartment, spotlessly clean, located near the sea shore & a few small shops & bars. It is well equipped, with a small kitchenette & washing machine, which was a godsend after a few days of travelling! The views of Etna were lovely, when not covered in clouds, from either the small terrace or balcony, where you can either dine or enjoy a coffee or wine! Adrianna, the owner is a lovely, kind & helpful woman, who will go out of her way to ensure her guests are well looked after…

The area is quiet at present as it is now out of season, but it is not a complaint, just an observation if other travellers are planning or looking for a busier location, if, like us, you’re ready to relax, it’s perfect
