Penthouse on the main street, town center Akureyri

Bellissimo appartamento nei pressi del centro. Ampio, accogliente con terrazza, sala e cucina ampie, ben dotate ed molto apprezzate. Grazie!

4° piano senza ascensore e parcheggio nei pressi a pagamento nei giorni feriali. Eravamo cmq informati su tutto.

Location was perfect, right in the town near shops and restaurants. We enjoyed having the outside space upstairs. It was spacious and comfort. The owner was very helpful.

The fan in the upstairs bathroom didn’t work and the shower head was a problem. It would have been great to have a microwave.

The two-storey apartment is at the top of the building, slap bang in the centre of the city but quiet nonetheless. The place is huge, for the money. Nearby parking is free between 16:00 and 10:00. There is other free parking a five minute walk away, for daytime.

There are six flights of stairs to the front door and there is no elevator. Akureyri is not the most exciting town in the Arctic, though it could become so with a little imagination.

There was plenty of room for seven adults. Didn’t feel like we were cramped. One bathroom on each level was great. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was excellent.

The street level noise went on until the early morning hours. We could hear it even though all windows and doors were closed.
