Hampden Apartments - The Catherine

Good location and comfortable beds. Host was responsive and allowed us to check in early. The apartment was reasonably clean and great to have free parking onsite.

The apartment requires some maintenance. The key would get stuck in the lock, multiple cupboards and blinds are broken and lights not working. The lack of ventilation was an issue and windows wouldn’t open so could not get fresh air. If these faults are attended to, it could be an excellent apartment.

The location was perfect, the apartment was spacious, and had everything we needed. Nicely styled too.

The second bedroom was a very small double so not much space for larger suitcases, quite a few ceiling lights not working, blinds broken, the door to the washing machine almost falling off, and the second shower over the bath very very slippery (one if our party fell over in it) so a non slip mat is a must!

The position of the property was brilliant for the activities we'd planned in Windsor

This is a nice apartment but needs some urgent attention by the owners. The lack of ventilation in the bathrooms has lead to mildew, which can be seen and smelt. Sink light in 2nd bathroom has the pull cord missing and therefore not working. Some of the kitchen unit doors need repairing as broken and fall when opened. The general cleanliness was superficial. We found an old sock under the sofa which had clearly been there awhile. The window frames are very dusty and some of the blinds broken. I hope the owners act on this feedback

Couple of minor niggles stopped this from being perfect.

Location was great, just a few minutes walk to pub and restaurants, town centre. Secure parking. Shower and bath good. Spacious.

Door lock faulty, key gets stuck in lock until you find the knack to remove it. Don’t think windows ever get opened as I couldn’t seem to open them for fresh air. Aircon controller difficult to operate, couldn’t really find instructions. Hinges on cupboards not great. Cheap kitchen cupboards and drawers fine but just needs a bit of maintenance or upgrading.

Home from home, kitchen was well equipped, showers were great and water always hot, host was very responsive when we had a small issue

Mattresses could be better, Windsor is on a flight path from Heathrow

Location was excellent, just a 10 minute walk into the centre of town. Communication and response from Jeremy was also very good. Nice large living area made for good relaxation after a long day out. Main bedroom is large and spacious.

The second bedroom is extremely small, we had to keep our suitcases in the living area so we could move around the room.
