Residence Moritz

Amazing view from the apartment. Very clean and comfortable with all necessary equipment. High quality & cosy :-)

The apartment itself, its interiors and the balcony area are beautiful and the view is magnificent. In winter, the apartment was comfortably heated and the blankets were very thick.

The second bedroom had no door and was a passageway to the bathroom. The kitchen was missing the basic necessities like dishwasher soap and scrubbing brush/sponge so we struggled to clean the dishes properly and had to scrub with our bare hands. A simple breakfast would have been chargeable at a very high price. Any request for a fresh towel was also chargeable even if you stayed for several days. The bathroom had no shampoo, body wash, or conditioner. We found ourselves having to shower without them for 2 days because all nearby supermarkets were also closed on Sundays! We asked the property manager if she could spare some, and she was kind enough to leave a tube on the table while we were out, but we were shocked when she tried to bill us $$$ for it when we were departing. She had made no mention at all that any soap she provided would be charged. For the very high price we paid, we felt these should have been included.

Location and the style.

Kitchen could have been better equipped. There is no door to the second bedroom. So if you are in the living area you have to be quiet, if people are asleep there

Clean and stylish rooms with fantastic view of mountains. The towels and bed sheets were extremely fresh and clean, and we like that they are different colours and not classic white. The residence has own private parking so it's easy to park your car as there are many spots. The manager is very responsive - we had a small issue with noisy neighbours and the manager resolved the issue immediately once I wrote a message about it. Also, when we arrived we received a tourist card which allows to use local public transport for free. In the kitchen you can find almost everything that's necessary for cooking. Neighbourhood is great as well, many restaurants around, bus stop, many places where you can walk or go by car. To sum up we got a great experience, thank you.

Even though there was a coffee machine - it was a Dolce Gusto which requires capsules/pods and there were no pods. It would be great to have some or mention it somewhere that guests could buy them in advance. Also, in the kitchen you can find many stuff for cooking but salt and pepper. We didn't expect it will be missing. One more thing, it would be nice to have some basic toiletries in the shower. Only these three points.

it was our second stay at Residence Moritz and there is absolutely nothing to complain about. The hosts are unbelievable wonderful and always eager to please and just made our stay exceptional! We were a parge family and they accommodated us so well. The apartments were all very clean and well equipped. The Merano card was a big plus, so we were easily able to use the bus into Meran.

There was absolutely nothing to complain about!
